Alfred George John Rush was traveling with Frank John Goldsmith, Emily Alice Goldsmith, Frank John William Goldsmith, Nathan Goldsmith, and Thomas Leonard Theobald, and they all boarded Titanic at Southampton, on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912, bound for Detroit, Michigan.
Alfred George John Rush celebrated his 16th birthday during the voyage.
Frank John Goldsmith, Thomas Leonard Theobald and Alfred George John Rush were all lost in the sinking, however, Emily Alice Goldsmith, Frank John William Goldsmith and Nathan Goldsmith all managed to board lifeboat collapsible C, and survived.
