Escott Robert Phillips was traveling with his daughter, Alice Frances Louisa Phillips, and they boarded Titanic at Southampton, on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912, bound for New Brighton, Pennsylvania.

Escott Robert Phillips was lost in the sinking, and his body was not recovered, but Alice Frances Louisa Phillips managed to board lifeboat 12, and survived the sinking.
