Music from the Voyage

I've recently started a blog called Titanic Piano (blogspot) where I've been discussing the music on board Titanic. Today's entry discusses whether having two "libraries" of music would have impacted the band's final performance the night Titanic sank.

I'm hoping our members here will stop by and take a look.

I also posted audio from a radio interview I gave last week and a link to a magazine article called "The story of music on board RMS" Titanic which has been published in the piano magazine Clavier Companion.

I'm just a beginner researcher, but I'm hoping my thoughts and insights will be interesting to you!

When I read accounts of Titanic's music I wear two hats, one of a Titanic enthusiast and the other of a musician. I've done a lot of thinking about Titanic's last number and have devised a new theory, The Juxtaposition Theory. I've posted it on my blog today. Click and read it!
