HI shipbuilder,

I agree' not as like the Titanic disaster. Close to shore and help very close and the ship never sunk.

I saw a firmilar program on about CC & at one point the crew actually told passengers to go back to thier cabins. The ship and passengers were in complete danger and crew told passengers to go back to thier rooms. I have no idea If the crew knew of how bad the situation was at that time but It makes you wonder & think----If we were to be on a ship disaster would we believe any crews instructions? Hell No! I would be placing my buttocks in a lifeboat!

It didn't look like the crew had been told. In fact it didn't look they appreciated the seriousness of the situation on the bridge either!

At the end of the passenger videos, the mother of one family who got off OK said something like "Look upon it as an adventure!" Little girl replied
"It wasn't an adventure - it was a misadventure!" Many a true word.....!

Comment: Some of this is a good idea, but beware the kneejerk changes which won't solve anything.
